I was running a pair of m/t 305/45r/18 and have been hooking up pretty good at the track. Wondering if anyone out there would know if some nitto 555r would hook better. Remmeber im looking at a 305/45/18

Not that you want my opinion but 305/40/18 M/T street ss is now the new tire, it's in case rain pops up. The drag radial LOL not made anymore

I found the drag radial on discount tire. Do u think the m/t are better than the nittos? These will be track only tires. I live only 15 mins from the track and swap them out before i go.

I would stay with Mickey Thompson. That being said if your that close and change tires before the track get the Street R's not for rain. Please call them punch option 4 and let them recommend the tire, they know more than me.

With slicks I'd need new rims, drive shaft loop, and I'd have to swap out at the track. What setup do you have again Stella? Can your set up with slicks and rims be had for under a grand?

The M/T have been pretty good to me since i have them on 18s and haven't had the tiniest bit of wheel hop

Its more than the wheel hop issue. M6 car shock the drivetrain HARD.. the softer sidewall of the slick will absorb that hit.. Your diff, axles, and driveshaft will thank you

Voxx 18x9 im really considering slicks. If i go with slicks id let the rims go for cheap if anyone is interested. They fit those MTs perfect and work great.
