Apologize if already stated elsewhere, but the wow factor has not let off a bit...

    New stuff I discovered....

    1. The hood vents sure make a mess of the engine bay - I'm thinking there's a market for some type of rubber mat that could lay in those holes during washing. I'm going to put my sham wows there so the water doesn't drip into the bay. Just easier to clean.

    2. The underside of the hood is amazing. All of my previous SRTs it looked like over spray and thin in many places.

    3. My engine bay paint is also complete...having three previous pitch black SRTs, every one of them was barely painted in spots and the finish was almost brownish in the sunlight because the paint was so thin. Nice to see Dodge take the time to spray the engine bay as they should have all along.

    4. Rear trunk lid and bumper is just a dripping nightmare of water :) I literally take my leaf blower to clear as much water as possible, but I was going back a dozen times to wipe all the water from the light assemblies, dumper, edges, etc.

    5. Overall paint - this is nicest black paint job to date for me. Today was my first real chance to clean the car and lay down a coat of Chemical Guys Black Light (my favorite sealant EVER). The paint was so bad on my 2nd SRT, the dealership bought it back. This one is super clean and smooth.

    6. The auto heated seats and wheel are spot on. I've had these options on other vehicles, but this is the first one that will literally come on while driving if the temp drops below a certain degree, I think 40. It's configurable in the system options. Nice touch.

    7. My driver's side engine cover is not even as the black tube that should be in front of the cover is actually between the engine and the cover....makes it look crooked. It was the same way on my friends Hellcat. Not sure if I want to move that tube or have the dealer do it. Just mentioning for those that haven't noticed it, I suspect there are others like it. No biggie, easily fixed I'm sure.

    Love this car!

Haven't really had a good chance to look mine over. Paint looks pretty good. Did see some stamping/hemming flaws on door. Have a bigger issue now, 200 miles it has an oil leak by filter/lines. Took it back to dealer Friday. Won't know anything til Monday.
Love th car. Lime green, nav, auto, leather, 3 season tires.

Glad you like your car . Painting of the hoods and inner engine bay area started with the 2014 shaker cars and now we do this for the hellcats . IMOP it should be done on all the cars not just the hellcats

Did you have the wheels painted or powder coated?

Yes on the Chemical Guys link
No to the question on Black cars only...it's just the name of the product. Smells amazing and so easy to use...the shine is great.
    Had the rims painted.

I love this car, thank you! The changes in quality, design, and appearance are just spot on. I totally agree that it should be done on all cars. Never understood the nice 392 Hemi sitting in an unfinished engine bay....we buy these cars because they have great Hemi motors....show them off.

Liquid...a little goes a long way.

I usually get the stuff from a "detailed image" website that offers a lot of coupons once you sign up and/or published right on the site.
