Anyone else see this? It seems to be happening with more frequency as I go.

I'm driving...I think it happens mostly when I'm driving calm for a bit. Car is moving....maybe between 15-30mph. Then when I give it some gas....enough to make some noise....nothing, or very slow a acceleration.

I'm trying to pay more attention now...I THINK it feels like it's not downshifting. If I leave my foot on it takes 3-5 seconds before it corrects. If I take my foot off and on it'll correct but still a .5-1 second delay the second time I put gas down.

Could be a real problem if it happens at an I opportune time and you're expecting the car to move and it doesn't.

Could be the car is learning your driving habits,, if your normal driving is easy, and not gunning it all the time,, then your car will do that..try unhooking the battery for like 15 mins.. Then drive the car,, see what happens

It's been in quite a few times and should have all updates.

That can't be....my driving habits are typically very hard. I rarely drive light. Even so, i can't imagine the car would, by design, have a long hesitation at certain times but not others.

What mode is Trans in street? Try sport mode and see if it does it.

I noticed mine sometimes changes the default mode setting on its own. Occasionally making them more aggressive, and sometimes, going as far as putting it in Eco. Check your settings. Also, once, my car did not "see" my red key and my wife was in the car with me with her black key (I gotta get rid of that damn thing (the key,not my wife!)) and the car went into low power mode. Couldn't figure out for a while what was going on. They need to update the software to manage that better.

i drive in sport mode most of the time accept when its warming up.....so i barely touch the accelerator the car downshifts and is off.......i suspect your in street mode with this issue?

try sport mode transmission---if this is happening in sport mode then my answer is NO its not happening with me

I experienced bogged down acceleration this morning after hand washing car.
I have the M6 and was having fun on the highway earlier enjoying the power.

City driving afterward definitely not 100%
Parked somewhere an hour and afterwards back to normal
( have 1600 miles on car)

I've only seen a delay with the acceleration in early morning when the ambient temps were less than 50 and my car was cold. After warming the car, no hesitation. M6

Has happened a couple of times intermittently again. Highway driving today, checked hp display to see that when it happens, for example , accelerating to pass, hitting gas was getting only 200 hp, increasing slowly to maybe 230 or 240 max !
Pulled in for gas, so I could try accelerating re-entering highway and that hellcat power was back -hit the gas for rapid rise to 425+ hp before having to ease off (as want to kelp my drivers license)

This is the first time I've had problem occur, then rectify itself without stopping vehicle .
    Supercharger issue ?

This sounds like a problem with the throttle position sensor

I have had this happen only once with my hellcat but it is somewhat common on my 11 RT so i treated it as normal. It is almost like the engine is saying do you really want to do this after you have mashed the gas after driving sedate for a while. Pulling out to pass with the RT you have to get into the gas a bit more than with the HC!! lol Thats when I noticed it first in the RT. Throttle by wire computer fail safe or phenomena?! There is a sequence you can perform a throttle reset/sync on the RT not sure if it is the same on the HC. But it didnt correct or change it.

We recently had a similar, and random, issue with my wife's SUV. It turns out that at some point from factory to delivery the wiring harness was sliced and repaired without replacing. This is what caused the randomness of it. It took 3 weeks for them to finally figure it out. Because so much is controlled electronically, and the car is new, it sounds electrical/computer to me. Somewhere the signals being sent/received are getting confused.
