Wow. Well unless they're planning on filling my order in November for a 2015 Charger I'd say I'm hopeless (8 BX ahead of mine).

I think good ol Gualberto took some liberties there on adding a bit of hyperbole to how well most dealers are handling this; from orders taken, to "transparency", to deposits taken, to "understanding and explaining the allocation process"

Doesn't this also mean that a LOT of Chargers are going to get delayed/not built at all given that there is a huge backlog of Challengers yet to clear and it's clear it's only one allocation/month regardless of model?

Wow. If this is true they're basically saying you're screwed if you, like me, are one of the 100 people who ordered from Bob Frederick. He's got to be one of those small dealers taking more than he can fulfill (although he's been very transparent about it taking 6-8 months to fill). I'll wait a bit longer with Bob but if this holds true I'll have no choice but to start looking nationally for a dealer I'm willing to play ball with. Ugh.

So................"Based on the dealer’s prior 90 day Dodge sales and previous Hellcat scheduling, when can I expect to receive my Hellcat order?"

Okay, then how many 90 day Dodge sales are required and is this number weighted by dealer size and/or market category? How should one frame this question to "qualify" a prospective dealer?

They didn't want to hear it in the Bob Frederick thread and ran me out, but other than maybe 6-7 of those people (if that) the rest are never getting their cars. He never should have taken all of those orders, it was irresponsible regardless of how good a guy he is. Furthermore, due to demand and ability to build, this car now has hit "limited availability" status for 2015. No way FCA is going to direct 100+ of those units toward one small dealer in OH. I'm sure the Bob Frederick orderees will once again come after me with the pitch forks for being "negative" but all I have been trying to provide is a bit of reality, nothing personal against Bob.

FCA does share a bit of responsibility in this mess as well but that wasn't addressed obviously. The ordering system should have been shut down earlier and allocations handed out by order date.

Based on the info in that article if you are more than 4th or 5th on a dealers list you have little to no chance of seeing a 2015. I would go find one on a lot a buy it quick. This will only drive the prices up in my opinion.

This is the time for any who are waiting for Hellcat Challengers, START LOOKING for what is out there. Your chances could be better and over MSRP might be your only chance to get one. Its how bad do you want one!
