Hey guys I picked up the Hellcat 2 days ago I have 350kms. I have been following the recommended break in procedure. Moved the car today found 2 spots of oil roughly 3 inches apart and each around 2 inch in diameter. Has anyone had this happen? I will take some pictures tomorrow and I will try to find where the leak is coming from. I will also check the oil level.

    Are you certain its oil??
My guess is it's soot from the exhaust.
All cars drip from drainage weep holes near the joint in the exhaust.
They Stop doing it once carbon is built up inside exhaust system.

Hopefully you Don't have an Oil leak.....
    Double check ;)

Mine made two spots on the garage floor the first couple months but no longer does.

Approximately where under the car did you find the residue?

its common for spots of black condensation from the exhaust to be mistaken for oil

Yes I've had a "seep" the dealer called it from the plastic connector fitting from the oil line going to the oil filter
No pressure loss from this for me
Average is 34 -39 at standing idle
And depending on how you have the steering wheel turned it go little lower times
A seep rather than a leak nothing dropped down to the floor as maybe urs did.
This seep just sprays out intermittently spraying oil on filter. "Damaged part is white part" u can see yellowish color being oil in the pic
It took the parts a few weeks to come in, was on back order.
    Here is a pic
    Hope this helps
I am found out about it because I went to my first oil change on the skid plate
If it turns out to be a leak
    Call the Srt hotline
Tell them nicely this is unacceptable and u would like there help
Let them call dealer while ur in the line closest to u w a specified SRT tech
Let them do the appt for u keep them in the loop like I did
Dodge gave me a few oil changes free
Of course I had to ask for it..
Remember dealer will give u nothing go thru SRT directly
Let me know how it works out
    Cheers

Can you see the filter from under the car without removing anything ? Can't see it from the top.

Okay, I need to follow up with you. I have the same weeping or seeping oil which is not like a drip, more like a misty leak. I want to follow your route to repair, I like the idea of getting a few oil changes for the inconvenience. Did you arrange for the free oil changes through SRT or the dealer?

20151026_133031.jpg Cat_crap.jpg That will be dry after is sets for a while. Oil puddles never dry up.
If you look behind the car, you will probably find where the same black soot blows out the exhaust when you start it.

Yep my brand new 16 went in to my mechanic at about 1000 miles for an oil change and i was told there is oil coming from the oil cooler area. Nothing on the ground so i didnt notice it. Possible fitting leak. Havent brought it in yet but man, its disappointing to say the least.
Wonder if the dealer did the change, if they wouldve even noticed. This is why i use my own mechanic unless its warranty related.
