I have a deposit at three dealers I heard back from two today and one is 25,000 over MSRP and one is 10,000 over MSRP. Still waiting for the last dealer that I originally and a hand shake for a deal at MSRP. I told the first one to go F himself... I told the second dealer I will let him know by the end of today. We will see...
I am talking to a few dealers as well, two of them said they are going to hold an auction. Now that is sick. Going to get ugly folks, good luck to everyone.
I talked to a local dealer and they have two allocations. Both have deposits on them with one being 30K over msrp and the other 40K over msrp. Anyone thinking they're getting this car for MSRP is in for a rude surprise.
I just got one for $10k over MSRP. Still hoping for the other at MSRP. I'm just worried that most dealers had their webinar at 11 am EST and the MSRP dealer's webinar is at 4 pm EST... The MSRP dealer might not be getting one since their webinar is so late...

You have a signed agreement for 10k over? If not, I'd go get it in writing, now. 10K over is a gift IMHO. I doubt you will get MSRP on a handshake deal but GOOD LUCK!!
Yea, there will be a handful of people that get them for MSRP. Jay Leno, Tim Allen, Vin Diesel and a handful of regular customers who are either related to a dealer or have an outstanding relationship with them. My bet is all the rest go for 25k+. We will have to revisit the thread where people are claiming they are guaranteed MSRP once the Demon's start hitting the streets. I hope they all get one for MSRP but my guess is 90% that think they are getting one for MSRP are kidding themselves. Sure, the dealer may tell you MSRP until he sees them selling for 50K ADM. Money talks. The margins on regular cars is shrinking by the day so when the dealers can make a killing, they will. I'm not faulting them. If someone is willing to pay 50k admin, what dealer is going to say "Sorry, I have a handshake deal to sell at MSRP". Some may, but I doubt many will.
The market drives ADM. Limited production of an 800+ HP car, we could see some ADM's at 100k.
Just wait and there will be plenty available at sticker or less than sticker by next Mar/April...I do not believe there will be enough market for them to even recoup their marketing investment!
Never gonna happen - there will easily be well 3000 guys in the US and 300 in Canada that will pay over MSRP to get a car. It happened with the '08 Challenger...happened again with the 2011 Challenger w/ 392...happened again with the Hellcat. The difference is Dodge has straight out said this IS a 1 year run and these ARE the production #'s we will produce. That statement will create way more demand then we have seen IMO.
All these guys keep mentioning that msrp isn't happening, getting annoying. Some will some won't. Man outs like some feel good about knocking someone's high or just love to hate. And yes guys are aware that they might get screwed.
I agree. Same thing can be said for all the people claiming they are getting one for MSRP and already have an order. Even if these people pay ADM, my guess is no one will ever know.
yup, that is the REAL PISSER.... the celebrities that ARE getting them, can afford
anything and everything are getting them at MSRP. sux...it keeps them out of
the real people /a-holez like me that will get them and race them etc like they are supposed to be. :-(
Just got the phone with the manager. He just guaranteed me mine will be sold at MSRP and they will be getting 1 allocation for sure as of right now. I still have my fingers crossed.
Guys I waited over 300 days for my Hellcat to be delivered. I lost my mind during that process. I will not let myself go threw that again. I am calm and relaxed if I get one I get one if I don't I don't no sweat no lost sleep, you know why?..........I have a Challenger Hellcat in the garage! My fallback car is pretty awesome.

I was offered at $20k initially, but they came down to $10k, I sent them the Allpar link about delivery to see if that would help, I won't go over $5k, just not worth it to me, but I'm sure somebody else will pay it.
I did tell them that if they weren't reasonable, $5k, they would lose my business...and I have a big mouth too!
What are the numbered 2008 Challengers worth now? How many folks paid way over sticker for them?
What are the 2015 Hellcats worth now? How many people paid way over sticker price for them?
Same thing all over again. The they increased production of the HC. Now you can find a few 15s and some 16s new and they want to deal on them. Even used ones on trade are as much as a new SRT 392.
No it won't. It will be a separate bill of sale. A supplemental bill of sale you can say. Or it will be a 50K undercoat package, mud flaps, leather protectant, glass etch, doc fee etc... See where I'm going with this?
Yup. They'll find a way to get the money. Good job for FCA at least trying to stick by their motto and do the right thing. Push the performance limits if the SRT namesake and offer and high performance vehicle to the masses @ a fair price. (Last 2 statements can vary though based on who u ask.)
One each or 1 for the whole Central PA region? There are about 2500 Dodge dealers in the US ( FCA adding as many as 400 U.S. dealerships, sources say ) with plans to open 400 more. I would bet not every dealer will even get one.
I truly don't care either way. I've been around long enough to know that a car this rare (I don't know if 3000 is rare) is not going to sell at MSRP. FCA has already stated it's a single year run car. Many can dream but only people with extremely deep pockets will get this car. And that's fine for me. But for others that are truly wanting this car, it will be a sad reality.
When the C7 first came out, a lot of people were paying 25K over. Same thing with the GT350. 15K+ ADM was the norm even though these cars were not a limited production. GT350R's are still fetching 25k ADM even though Ford is doubling the output. It is great that FCA is giving preference to sold orders at MSRP first. Does that really mean anything in reality? A handful of dealers will sell at MSRP and be at the front of the line. Many other dealers will be willing to take 2nd in line so they can make more money. Since the cars are not being delivered until fall, all the MSRP orders and the ADM orders will likely all be sitting in the FCA lot next to each other. Who cares if yours is built in the first week or the 10th if they are both delivered at the same time? I THINK many dealers will pass on ordering any at MSRP. While I think technically what FCA is doing is the right thing, in practice, not sure it will really mean much other than make some feel secure that they will get a Demon at MSRP.
All those that think I'm being negative, I'm not. I'm being realistic. I saw what went on with the Cobras,Vipers, C6's C7's, GT350's and Hellcats. Not sure what makes some people think the Demon, with it's very limited run (for now), will be any different. Oh wait, I forgot, your dealer promised you
BTW, the thread title is "HOW MUCH OVER MSRP are you guys getting hit with..." not "HOW MANY THINK THEY ARE GETTING A DEMON AT MSRP". There are a couple users here who don't seem to want anyone to say people won't get one for MSRP. This is a discussion and no one should be upset as there are all just opinions. No one has a Demon in their possession so it's all up for discussion at this point. If you don't like seeing alternate views, you're in the wrong place.
I just spoke to one of the dealers I deal with in PA. He said all central PA dealers got 1 Demon. My ass I don't believe it. Any others from Central PA that sees their dealer getting more than 1??? Let the stories begin....

Ahhhh...this thread brings back so many "fond" memories from 2+ years ago when the HC's were hitting dealer lots and the stories of folks waiting for an allocation for months on end. For those that were with the forum back then, I'm sure you can relate. To those who get a Demon at MSRP....congrats. I think I will just be happy to see one in person. The next several months should be interesting.
