Ok so I have had lowered cars but the stock stance for this Charger is so low that I can hardly keep from scratching under the front lip going in and out of parking lots with any incline. I need to slow down like some lowered ricer! The suspension seems to have settled a little because it wasn't this bad when I first got it. So far I have scratched it so bad that I had to install multiple thick layers of clear bra to help keep the paint that is left. Am I the only one that is having this problem? I'm am amazed that people actually want to lower this car......oh hell no!

Having the same problem. I also had it with my 2010 as well. The town I live in has a few streets here and there that unfortunately I have to deal with almost everyday and I have to drive stupidly slow and still sometimes a small scrape. I wish these cars had the feature on the Teslas to raise up automatically at certain locations. I love the low stance on this car, but we pay the price for it at times like that.

Yep I'm just not used to it. And sometimes the entrance or exit doesn't look steep enough to cause a scrape and then I hear it. First world problems I guess.

Can anyone verify that the suspension settles down a little? I swear it's dropped a 1/4".

take the inclines "country boy style"--hot it at an angle and then keep a bottle of touch up for the ones you miss......

BTW, they are made low for a reason.

I agree, while it doesn't Look that low, I keep dragging on basic intersections and speed bumps.
Adding the zl1 addons splitter washers have helped some, but still rubbing the clear bra on the lip. Get the ones one the z28 and not the challenger. Seemed to work much better on my charger!

Hey is there a write up on this forum about modifying the splitter to get better clearance? How do these splitter washers work?

Is the main clearance issue the front splitter or will other parts of the car rub on speed bumps or sharp rises?
    Exhaust clearance good?

I had to call the State and request them to repave my drive way right of way as I could not get my cat in and out! Took about 4 weeks but the good guys at the South Carolina Hwy department took good care of me!
