The fix a flat canister, hoses, and compressor are all on the same unit. Review the instructions.

warning-----use the air only first...dont use the fix o flat crap unless you need it....i used it on my 2011 and was told my tire was trashed and could not be repaired...they said something about balancing and not being able to get the goop off...had to buy a new tire.........ive been told differently by some forum members here, but i trust the dealer(the only Dodge dealer i trust out of the 3 local ones)

the fix-a-flat stuff cannot ruin a tire--that's BS

I expect and hope to never use the Hellcat tire compressor. I have a small garage compressor to keep the tires right and when on the road it's AAA for me... 200 mile towing for $109 a year. The lockout service ( including home and car) battery jumps, tire service as well as discounts make it one of the best value anything I have ever purchased.
Think you will never use AAA? I find having AAA membership can make you a hero if you see someone less fortunate than us Hellcat owners experiencing car trouble. Offer them a free tow, jump or key lockout and you will see someones stress melt away and you will make a friend for life!
AAA has never taken over 35 min to show up and has been as fast a 6 min from the time I called. Incredible in my book and keeps you from having to use the tire sealant or changing your tire on the side of the road!

But it can ruin tire pressure sensors. My father borrowed mine to fix a flat on his Equus and it apparently destroyed the sensor in that tire. He had to pay out of pocket for a new one.

Fix-A-Flat is to get you off the road, not to save your tire. It's up-to you if you want to use it but if you overuse fix-a-flat it makes a huge mess inside the tire that most tire places don't want to have to deal with.

If used properly you can get the tire patched later, if not the tire is a dud from all the weight of the fix-a-flat plus the fact it's hard to scoop off in large amounts.

When I air down at the strip, the compressor is extremely handy.
