We all love our Hellcats or we would not have invested the 70K+. It is always been touted as the most affordable yet most powerful production muscle car. One reason for the affordability is that it is not a handmade super car it is a mass produced production car. Therefore the car has some flaws. There has been a lot of complaints about body panels fit and alignment. One of the things that really bothers me is the extremely cheap, poorly designed, poorly built plastic radiator cover. Of course one of the other one issues I didn't like were the very plastic looking, very cheap intake and heat extractor grills on the hood, but I think we can all agree I took care of that and there are many pleased people who agree with me.
So what you'll see here are my very first pictures of my One Piece Radiator Grill Cover. What you're looking at is the template, I have spent countless hours perfecting this template. I can guarantee you will not find anything remotely close to the tight tolerances of this cover. Next week I will make the first article out of 1/8" 5052 aircraft grade aluminum. For the fist article it will be Hydro Dipped Carbon Fiber. It will be a hood latch delete on this model and it will use my soon-to-be fabricated custom hood pins with Hellcat logo bezel where the pins come through the hood. I will offer fully functional hood latch version but for me I don't like the holes I wanted to be clean and slick.
I will then do the research to see if it is feasible to have these formed in real carbon fiber.
    Stay tuned Fellow Cat Heads...

It is nice you to have all the right tools at your disposal. The most frustrating thing is that we're always busy and we hardly ever get to do anything for ourselves.

Keeping an eye out on this. I'm interested in one for my Charger if you extend production to this model. You're doing great things!

Not quite the same. I'm going for a much cleaner look. Look at the Mr. Norm's part all they did was layup over the existing radiator covers including all the bumps and valleys, including the cup holders.
Examine the picture you sent look at the lower right corner right above the driver's side headlight, not a very good fit up.
The look I am after is smoth with no holes, no cup holders it will be as clean, flat, straight as possible and tight fitting as possible. The version that I'm making for myself won't have any holes for the hood latches as I will do a hood latch delete and use hood pins. Those who don't want to use hood pins and want to use the stock hood latch then I will make a model for them with the big ass ugly holes for the big ass ugly stuff it takes to latch the hood.
