I ordered a charger 392 two weeks ago and I'm patiently waiting for it's arrival at the dealership. Does anyone know how long that takes usually? I did not go with the technology package or the leather seats but I did get the moon roof and the HK system.

Depends on location but it seems to run in the 6 to 12 weeks range. The closer you are to Brampton to quicker it is

I'm roughly about 530 miles from Brampton.

What's so special about the technology package? I felt it was overkill. Am I missing something?

Yeah a lot. Have you ever driven a car with automatic cruise with full stop? You have no idea what you're missing

Ordered mine 6 weeks ago and it hasn't even been built yet.

I'm expecting probably 12-14 weeks. I was told nothing was on allocation so I have no idea why it's taking so long.

Salesman has no idea what's going on with my purchase. I wish there was a way to track this better being I already paid for it.

My salesman won't even return my phone calls. This entire purchase has gone from something that should have been fun and exciting to the worst purchasing experience I've ever had.

I swear my dealership is jacking with my order to slow it down or something. I don't think they really want to sell it to me but I have to just take it because I got a great deal and there isn't another built like it in all of freakin North America!

If anything the blind spot sensors are worth the whole price by itself

That is terrible! I hope mine isn't going to be the same but I have a feeling it's going to be. The salesman hasn't contacted me either.

Do you have a VIN#? If so, just ask RS the status of the car. He is able to give you much more info than any dealer or SRT.

image.jpg image.jpg When ordering your favorite new car it seems like it takes forever. I ordered mine and was pleasantly surprised It came in faster thanI thought. Ordered mine first part of Jamuary and received it on February 14th. So about 5-6 weeks.
And the technology package is the main reason I purchased the SRT over the Hellcat since I ordered the Hellcat the same day as the SRT. AND THE DEALER JUST GOT THE HELLCAT ON MAY 7th. Which I ordered the same day as my SRT. SO 5 months for Hellcat versus a little over a month. I passed on purchasing the Hellcat since I feel the SRT is more than enough fun. And sure enough the Hellcat had some paint damage from the shipping and or build and is in the body shop. U have to wonder if the pressure is so demanding for the Hellcat if the production is just pushing to fast and the quality is not staying with the build, I have seen many complaints on the HELLCAT forum of many dissatisfied owners on quality. Which is is too bad for all Mopar owners.

My SRT HAS the lane assist, blind spot and Adaptive cruise. The lane assist is insane. U can let go of the sternig wheel and the car drives itself. ALSO, I have the Challenger SRT 2015 and I am amazed the difference in the vehicles. The Charger is a lot more fun to drive than the Challenger and u never would have convinced me of this. My Challenger has half the mileage as my Charger and I picked up the Challenger Novemeber of last year.
