What was the initial price that some of you early buyers managed to lock in. I have been offered first crack at a charger that is arriving at a dealership but the asking price is just over $81000, they are asking for $ 1000 over msrp.

Depending on the options on that Charger, it sounds like they are asking about $10k over msrp. Ask the dealer for a POC. That will show the msrp for the car you are considering. It sounds like they are trying to rip you off. I paid msrp for my Charger with Laguna leather, HK radio, red seat belts, sunroof, brass monkey wheels and 3-season tires. The price was $71,355. That included the gas guzzler tax and destination charge.

If it's only a grand over invoice & you want a Charger this year; I'd jump on it!!!

I thought you want a Challenger though? That I would not compromise on... There will definitely be fewer Charger H/Cs in Canada, but don't expect to flip it with miles on it for more than you paid.

To me that's a good deal on a Charger. Is that what you want?..

You have to specify. Those Canadian sheckles throw us southerners into a tizzy. Sort of like that metric system thing.

I'm opposed to any sort of ADM (I totally get why people do it but I just don't like it) but if you can get a car for $1000 over given all the stuff going on getting one of these cars I'd say grab it!

Not sure what is going on but I see more and more buyers backing out and then then the dealer has a car on the lot, smells a little like sushi to me!!!!!!

Still sounds pricy to me. Last time I looked there wasn't that much difference in CAD$. It may be right with those other options. If you have the VIN, you can pull up the window sticker and see.

They emailed the sticker price to me, the Canadian dollar has dropped from par to 80 cents in the last year.

That makes an $80,000 CAD car worth only $64,000 USD. Something in the math doesn't add up but its sounding like a better deal now.
