So when just slowing cruising along in my hellcat M6 of i dont "pop" the clutch the tires don't really break loose. Slowing crushing as in 2nd and 3rd gear. I can only get them loose if i give it a rev then pop the clutch. Is mine lacking? Can other hellcats be going 40 or so in 3rd and just floor it and start spinning the tires?

Is your traction control on? Makes a huge difference.

Agreed! TC must have been on. Should be able to break the wheels lose easily through 3rd with this much power.

Mine is an M6 and it's the same way. It will light 'em at will in first gear, but after that you have to be really revvin' and pop the clutch, otherwise it just grabs. This is even with red key. I did a 7.5 second 1/8th mile on a nearby side-street, so I figure it must be working right, or that time would be slower on just the standard all-season tires that are on it; I have about 800 miles on it...

I noticed my car seemed a little TOO easy to drive, CRAZY FAST, but I expected more squirreliness than this - granted, I don't DARE switch TC out of "street mode"

I'm sure if I do, crazy shizzle will happen!

I drive mine in track mode....

I light tires up all the time thru 3rd gear no problem and I'm not using all of the throttle...

That's weird, cuz whenever I'm in track, sport, whatever, unless I shift right near the redline and have it floored, the tires just grab or maybe chirp a bit when I pop the clutch. If I floor it in first, then it will smoke 'em, but once I'm in second or later gears, it just grabs, with little or no wheelspin. Makes me wonder if mine is weaker than most?

In first, 25% of the throttle will absolutely smoke the tires. Stomping on it and you better be ready to not end up facing the wrong way lol.
Can easily shift to second and tires continue smoking with not much throttle. If I'm just cruising in 1 2 or 3 gears and I stomp it, tires get lit. 4rth gear grabs, sometimes lets a little squeal if powershifting.

Makes me think I got a dud. If I'm cruising along in 2nd or 3rd, and stomp it, it picks up speed but no wheelspin, have to pop the clutch to spin the tires. Doesn't matter if it's in sport or track or street traction settings. Does accelerate harder, with the red key, than the black, but neither is enough to make 'em spin unless I'm in first gear. Wonder why, seems mine is less potent; That chaps. I tried some 0-60's, on a local street, and only did 4.8 seconds which is unimpressive, and an 1/8th mile took 7.5 seconds. Not slow, but not up to the standards set by other owners. How many miles you got our yours JeKo; And why did you get rid of that picture than showed you and your prize-winning horse, which I think you used originally? Don't get me wrong, the one with you and the sublime beast standing side-by-side is nice too.

I drive in sport most the time. I can break loose whenever I want to, without full throttle. When I leave TC in street it takes a lot more to break loose.
