The only CQF installer in a hundred miles... wants $1200 for the HellCat, and $200 for the wheels. But he can come to my house. But if I want XPEL it has to come to him for a humidity-controlled environment. He didn't even quote that. That is pretty rich. Guess I'll stick with carnuba.

Most of the cost is for the paint correction. Lots of intense labor for a full to day and a half.

You're in the wrong part of the country. Much more reasonable here in FL

That is exactly what it cost me and I had to take it in. It took about 3 days total. Paint correction is timely. I am not sure if I can really tell a difference on the wheels as far as the C-Quartz. If I had to do it again I wouldn't coat the wheels.

I'm totally familiar with the process. I use my Porter-Cable 7424XP buffer on my vehicles. I have too many paint correction remedies now. I clayed the car when new (3500 miles ago), then used a swirl polish on the whole car, then a paint sealant. Wax on top. Paint has nor swirls, no marring. I hand wash with a microfiber mitten, blow dry, then a detailer drying towel. I may do a fresh detail, then drive it somewhere for XPEL. They can do a light detail to clean off the drive over. After, I can re-clean and maybe use CQ regular which is available to non-professionals. For this guys price I can ship the car somewhere and back plus get the detail.

Presidential_Detail coated my wheels and the brake dust rinses easily with just a garden hose. Much easier to clean with the C-Quartz.

Did he use CQF or DLUX on the wheels?

Maybe I leave the dust on too long or the humidity gets to it, but there is no rinsing anything off. You can easily wipe it off opposed to scrubbing like before but for 200$.... I am not sure I would do it again. I have noticed the biggest effect is on the calipers though. They don't accumulate dust like they did before the CQ, not so much for the wheels.

$700 just the CQ application plus paint correction which will be $500-$700

I only wish the brake dust would come off my driveway as easily as it does my wheels
