My check engine light was on after I left the tint ship and than hours later the engine temp was very hot. Checked the coolant temp and it was also very hot. Any insight ? Thanks

All gauges look good. Oil gauges look average. Coolant temp is up. I checked oil, oil is good. When engine light was on I ran diagnosis no codes appeared. Now engine light is gone. I did get a message that said Turn signal needs repair or something like that. I checked coolant levels and everything looks good. I drove 30 minutes on i95, no issues at all in straight driving. Sat at the light for about 10 minutes and the temp started to go up, the only way I could get it down is to keep driving it.

    No just coincidence. lol

Its kinda funny your car is fine and then you bring it in to tint, get it back and this kinda funny. Bottom line I do hope you find out what is going on.

did you tint your wind screen? only reason i would ask is because someone else did and water got down into the dash and they had problems for a few days with the electronics until it dried out.. or something like that :D

Won't be the fuses. Last case of this lasted several days as Abe has said. Might wait a few before taking it to the Dealership. Would NOT drive it in the meantime for safety's sake.

Maybe, If it dosent hurt to leave the car sit a few days it might dry on its own instead of the dealer tech putting on the blue glove and dissect your Cat.
