Anything to be concerned about
Cant help you on the severity but here is the code. Doesn't look serious.
P0112 Intake Air Temperature Circuit Low Input - DTC Code
I got this code once when my car was right behind another running car for a while (long story). The code persisted for a couple of hours but after a couple of driving sessions it cleared.
I got this code because I turned on the key while the MAF and air sensor hose was disconnected. Check your connections.
Happened during dream cruise obviously car didn't move much. The check engine light is off but the code is still stored
I got this code Friday at Woodward as well. Taking it in today, might just be s stored code now but I want to know why. I did install the Bwoody CAI. Weird it happened after that.
Keep me posted thanks
I'm at the dealer right now. They are going to check it out and I'll let you know.
Did you disconnect your negative terminal before install the woody?
Yes. It threw the code the following day after 8 hours of driving
So here is what the dealer said. It threw the code because air intake temps reached 195. But it was a stored code so it just needed top be cleared.
Thanks I'll take mine in to clear code
Does your Bwoody have a heat shield?
Also, this could be the effects of the intake tube material.
No it doesn't. I'm going back to stock.
Not surprising but the same craze for aftermarket air intakes historically hit modern gen challenger owners about 5 years ago.
History repeats itself.
Just a matter of time before the carbon fiber intake tubes hit the market.
