I had/have a problem with my 15 hc, engine light came on and through a code p2227, barometric pressure sensor and went into limp mode. Long story short, I cleared code and dealer can't do anything until it happens again.they need to get a freeze frame, whatever that is,and send to srt. Apparently the pcm will have to be replaced. There is a tsb out on this issue. If this happens to any of you beware. You may want to check with your dealer to see if this will affect your car. Since clearing mine it runs great but I'd hate to be 100 miles from home when it happens again.

    Has it happened again?
Did your dealer change the PCM?
My car threw the code, but for a reason, my buddy took off in fifth gear while racing another car.

Would that not show up in the monthly report? I opened my account which is free and get a monthly status report. Part of that report shows if any codes have been thrown.

mine thew this code once. my finger slipped off the start button just as it started or was about to start and it started really hard. the idle sort of hung around 2k then it went into limp mode threw the code and the check engine light. There was a TSB posted here (can't find it now) all it said was for the dealer to do was record the incident, reset the ECU and disconnect the battery for at least 30 seconds.

I disconnected the battery all was clear and now it's been 2 or 3 months no issue or recreation.

I only press my start button just long enough for the computer to know I did. Like I would press the door unlock button. Just a quick tap.

That does not work on our HC, you have to hold it in, maybe a M6 thing.

Mine threw that code plus 2 others, replaced a faulty Crank Shaft Sensor though.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Finger slipped and threw the code. Cleared at the dealer today and they also did two software updates.
