Hey guys, so my detail shop was able to get everything out but this faint line from rail dust or shipping truck rust dripping down on the car.

The original spot that it dripped on was removed no problem, but the streak that went down the rear quarter into the rear bumper remains faintly, a orbital buffer was used and still no luck. I've reached out to the dealer now but wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to do?

Pick up some IronX from CarPro and give it a shot; if the rust embedded itself into the finish that may dissolve the stain away.

i had a large purple bug stain on my front bumper of my white 2011 IE.....it sat for 3 days and ate into the clear...had to take sandpaper and sand away some clear to get it out....take it to a body shop and tell them to lightly sand a bit......bumper guys know how much they can sand.....

i always had rail dust to clay bar off in the spring...always on the back bumper...white is a good color to not show swirls, but it has its own issue-rail dust

It could still be from "rust bloom." I've had similar looking marks if you have a deposit that runs down the surface over time:

This is IronX working to dissolve the rust stain:

Not a perfect result, but that particular stain was really bad.

This case appears much less severe, so it might do the trick. Worth a shot, at least...
