Pretty common and I have seen it on several cars. My car has it.

Conspicuous concealed area slows me to have it out of sight and out of mind.

I will try to take some pics when I get home. This is s common paint concern amongst many other models as well

Overall, the Dodge Paint is without a doubt the worst paint of any production car/truck I have owned. Very very disappointing.

Agree, I've got a crap load of orange peel and what looks like clear overspray. Don't know whether to take it in and complain or just keep working it off myself.

My 2014 Ram 1500, my other FCA vehicle, has an almost perfect job-very smooth and shiny. Of course it wasn't built at Brampton, word is that the paint equipment there is nothing short of craptastic. Our Audi and 2 Porsches are near perfect as well. Dodge needs to up their game in this area. For God sakes, this is supposed to be a flagship vehicle.

Orange peel is generally caused by dry spraying with gun too far away or low pressure I believe. May need more paint and less solvent or bring gun closer. 60's and 70's paint jobs were worse. I can live with some orange peel but you are right that modern technology should give us better. I am wondering if Canadian law requires them to use lower pressure when spraying with HVLP systems also causing the problems. Just a thought. Anyone know the law up there ?
