how many of you are going to paint nose cone to match black hood,if the black hood EVER comes from the factory? Or does a guy drop the hood & paint the hood & nose cone at the same time and not try to match satin paint?

Yep,I painted my 09 srt w/ T/A hood satin ( amazing, I had a guy paint a hood satin black , and it didn't take 6 months to do it) just like that, I just wonder if a paint shop can match the factory satin w/o paint code?

I am considering having it done. I may just have it wraped so it is easy to change back if I don't like it.

This can be easily done with a vinyl wrap. If you get tired of it just peel it off.

I like the T/A stripes. If I ever did a stripe it would be a variation of this. Since it is Challenger I personally feel it should have a Challenger inspired stripe

See, I like how the painted nose cone "finishes" the look of the car, like a '70 the hood was the end of the car, a cuda had a nose cone, not a challenger, I wish the hellcat came with the hood & cone satin

That's what drives me crazy, they figured out how to paint those hoods black back in the 70s & now someone can't paint these hoods satin now, or for F**k sakes, have robot paint them! Get it done!

peel it off and have a faded outline where it used to be from the sun.....thats what would prevent me from doing it

i agree it completes the look better than just the painted hood....i think the hood looks odd w/o the front nose being painted too
