Today I noticed that the passenger window was slightly down like when you first open the car and the window rolls down slightly. I thought maybe the wife had rolled down the window and didn't get it back up....nope.

Using the driver's controls I could only get the window to go down. It would not go up at all. The same happened with the passenger door control. I ended up starting the car to put it up. At first it wouldn't go up but then all of a sudden it went up using both door controls.

I thought it was probably the passenger door switch but the driver's door control for the passenger window didn't work either. The driver's side window functioned normally through all of this.

I assume there must be some type of a relay or the driver's side control feeds through the passenger door switch.

Anyone have any thoughts or technical information?
    Thanks

Does it work ok now? Did you have the battery disconnected for any reason? Some cars require the windows to be "programmed" after power being cut and restored. Programming is running them all the way down and then all the way back up.

I think you have to cycle it 3 times and the program senses the state and position then resets it

    Battery has never been disconnected.

Do you mean pressing up and down in the switch to recycle it?

    Thanks guys for the responses

I'm just taking a SWAG at it. Since I don't have my HC yet I don't know exactly how they work.
My Camaro SS (does the drop down slightly when you open the door and then back up to seal after the door is closed) requires a "calibration" after the battery has been disconnected. My 10 Challenger R/T is similar.
Your symptoms sound like how my windows act when they need to be "calibrated". However I am not familiar with what the HC needs for the "calibration". The SS is simply take the window all the way down in one complete motion and then all the way up in one complete motion. Until I do that "calibration" .. the auto down and auto up features will not function.

It did it again today while cleaning it.
I opened the door to clean the inside window glass and the window partially went down(normal) then after closing it it never returned to closed.
I turned the ignition to ACC and then put it down. It did come back up so I repeated that 3 times hoping this will cure it.

if door is ajar or the module thinks it's ajar, it will not allow the window to go up all the way. it will stop it approx. 7/16" from top.

It does that part fine remaining down just a little but when I close the door the window just stays in that position.
Yesterday it only went down and stayed down. After several minutes of fiddling with it, it finally went up.
Today it wouldn't go up but when right down. This time it did come back up. So I repeated this as suggested 3 full times.
Time will tell and it will probably will be tomorrow as I have a car show.
    Thanks

Check uConnect to confirm that your software is up to date...Updating this cured a similar problem in my wife's HC.
