which would run or be best in the hellcats.. performance 91 octane reg unleaded or 93 octane with 10% corn? or not much difference? 91 is about .30 a gallon more then the 93

i think the ethanol makes the car faster.....am i correct?

i used to drive to the next county to get 91 ethanol free.....i still store the car over the winter with the non-ethanol, but i think the ethanol gives the car more HP + the extra 2 octane of the 93 vs 91

Is your E85 setup capable of detecting regular (premium unleaded) fuel like a flex fuel vehicle, or are the computer controls and injectors too large to compensate for a wide range of fuel types and operating parameters ? I am a bit behind on the E85 requirements, but E85 is very difficult to find where I am located.

FT, it is really a no brainer, use the higher octane. Doc's reply indicates to me anyway that corn gas in any form should not be a problem. It was interesting after him and others converted some cars to E85 we skipped all the talk about ethanol destroying the fuel system and making the engine internals junk (which is all not true). If they are using the ethanol to get the higher octane and it is cheaper to buy, get the better stuff.

just wanted to know if this gas marketed as "Performance fuel" ran better then the higher octane in the pump next to it.. not concerned about internals
