Has anyone found a decent mount for our Challengers. Preferentially a vent mount for the right of the steering wheel..

    Thanks

Throw the phone in the console and don't worry about it while driving. If you need to use the phone for any reason, pull off the road and use it. Be safe ... you should be focused on driving, just sayin' ...

Phones can be used for Waze & Google Maps for GPS rather then the uconnect system. Espically if people don't want to pay for the sirius traffic for the uconnect gps either. (And tbh even I'm considering dropping traffic on my SRT's cause its always wrong in my area). The only difference between your phone and uconnect is uconnect is connected to your car. Mounting your phone to your car is the same distraction as using uconnect to play music or use your GPS. You shouldn't be texting and driving of-course but i see no harm in mounting it for music and GPS.

Agreed.. I need it for waze. But after trying the high quality streaming from my Sirius app over Bluetooth I will be using that instead of the head unit as Sirius has become unlistenable for me. The quality difference is astounding and I have 30Gb/month to use...

BTW, the latest stereo update helped everything but Sirius which still pops and just sucks...

Playing from an SD Card or Flash drive is literally night and day difference compared to sirius.

Y'all need to get the latest flash LOL

XM radio sounds amazing now. You sound like you got the previous flash, that didn't do shit.

Ahhh. No. RRT 15 02. Two weeks ago. Sirius is better but still sounds like garbage. I don't know what bit rate they satellite stream but it is lacking.

Bandit, are you telling us that your Sirius sounds ad good as the other sources ?.. No way is that true for me.

I love my proclip for my Grand Cherokee (vent mount)... But not sure I'd like it mounted near the screen for the Challenger. Does it get in the way of the Nav?

The Proclip does not get in the way of the NAV screen for me. I mounted it furthest to the right and tilt the phone to the right slightly.
I tried a half dozen mounts before I settled on this one. It is very stable with my iphone 6+
I am 5'-13" tall so I keep the seat almost all the way back.

Almost every bit as good actually. Couldn't be happier for a factory system. It was shit before.
