Picked up the Hellcat Charger at 4PM this afternoon. (12 miles on the odometer...and, based on the previous submissions on the forum, I checked the previous top speed in the performance page...45 MPH), PS Thanks all!!!
I drove it home, (always mindful of the break in recommendations that for the first 100 miles, do not exceed 55, revs below 3,500, etc.), in fact purchased the Lifetime warranty...($100 deductible, FOREVER...$3,415), so I CLEARLY have a vested interest in making this a semi permanent garage ornament, except perhaps, 60 years from now, when I need to take it out to get a new gross of Grampers, right before they put me in the home.
Anyway, drove it 5 mi. to the local auto parts store-(for trunk stocking stuffers, to let the car know that I was going to spoil it, and it was lucky to have fallen into the care of such a loving owner-digital tire pressure gauge, shop towels, a battery LED worklight, fire extinguisher-(based upon the the recall for the the gas line that can potentially become undone!) . Anyway, after leaving the store, and as I was approaching the car, I noticed a guy 2 cars over looking at the car, thought nothing of it, other than "How cool is this, EVERYBODY appreciates this AMAZING work of art/technology!"
So, feeling all full of myself, about what great decision I had made in purchasing this phenomenal automobile, and that I should just get used to people staring in awe and watching me leave the parking space, he started to wave BOTH of his hands in the air, in an exaggerated circular motion, so I rolled down the window, and he said..." I've been watching that LAKE of antifreeze grow under your new car while you were in the store, and I wanted to make sure that you knew about it, "cause it can't be good".
I looked at what he was pointing at, and the large puddle was indeed prodigious, I came to the conclusion that "This can't be good!".
I tried to make it back to the dealer, but since I had the engine coolant temp gauge dialed up in the DID, drove for about 1/4 mi, watched it go from 210, 220, 230,...so I immediately punted, pulled over into a business parking lot, turned it off, called the dealer, watched the tow truck tow 'er away, and am awaiting to hear of the fait of my Hellcat after owning it for 1 hour.
I hope that the members of this forum, indulge me my literary license, but this was meant as a notice to other owners that this may be a potential concern for other/ all Hellcat owners, or, it may be a simple, one off occurrence that I had the misfortune to experience.
Anyway, that's what the forum is for, so that fellow enthusiasts may share their stories, and shared knowledge.
BTW- the $2000K HK system sucks!
I'll keep everyone posed on the progress, and what the diagnosis was.

    Regards,
    Pat

There have been several reports of the top radiator hose clamp not being up to the task.

Not enough clamping force on top hose at radiator ( spring style) OR possible hose rubbing on pulley/belt
