How do you like your black Hellcats?

The Phantom is a $500.00 options but the metallics are awesome in the sunlight.

The Pitch Black is much darker.

I voted for the Phantom without the satin hood. I have a Pitch black SRT8 right now and the color is hard to wash and keep clean, If you aren't careful the swirl marks look like scratches in the paint. They are not but its a lot of work. I just love the metallic in the Phantom black when the sun hits it.
I think the black hood option is a waste of $995 but I bet it will end up being a rare option.

However at the end of the day I have a TorRed car coming.

I agree...for that 30 seconds after you get done washing it, drying it, detailing it to get the water spots off it is awesome!

Is the satin good going to be that much different then the phantom black regular hood?

Yes Satin just has black with a eggshell shine to it. the Phantom has metallic in it. Lots of colors pop when the sun hits it. Both the Pitch and Phantom are clear coats, the satin black hood option is not a clear coat ( please correct me if Im wrong) I think the satin hood on the Phantom will look good but there will be lots of times you don't notice it. Won't stand out like on the Green or White.

Phantom black was super glossy if you look directly at it, from an angle it sparkles in the sun,

Once you go black you can't go back
When it's clean there is nothing better, tint those windows and you're all set
Can't wait, why are they holding these cars back?

I have a pitch black Jeep and yes it is a pain to keep swirls out of, now my Tuxcedo Black F150 is like the phantom it is fairly forgiving. But its still black and needs to be washed twice to three times a week. My HD Road Glide is flat black and is by far and away the easiest black vehicle I have ever had to clean. No swirls, no gloss that shows dirt, and looks great with no chrome!

I gotta go with with Pitch Black. I'm not a fan of the metal flake in black paint. The thing that people like the most about it (sun hitting it and reflecting off the flake) is the thing I do not like about it at all. Just my preference though

thanks, I have the Pitch black and NOTHING looks better than it when its clean, just a lot of work.
I have another car with the metal flake on the black and it s easy to keep clean but does not look as good. Thats why I asked the question to get opinions.
