How do the letters attach to the panel, I haven't looked yet but assumed that they are stick on. I had been thinking about taking them off altogether.

The plasti dip has to be cut around the letters once you remove the tape and the paint comes off the letters very easily. I am going to order another set and paint them off the car. Have the back covered in vinyl where the plastic gloss is and see if I can get tint on lights at same time. So, the back would be flat black, flat black letters and then tinted tail lights. I'll see what cost will be. Too fussy to have funky looking paint on letters.o_O The black letters definitely work in the car, just need to do it right. :D

Thanks! I'm always willing to try as long as I am not at risk of breaking something important! :D Probably masking and painting in my garage at 10:00 p.m. Wasn't the best idea...:)

Yes, they are just stick on. I thought about removing, but I think I just want black out Dodge letters. I don't like the gloss black in back because rest of car is flat black and the plastic scratches easy and I hate scratches. The letters on the back are pretty easy to remove, just be careful not to scratch the plastic. On another thread it was recommended to use hair dryer or heat gun and fishing line.
