I noticed a orange-ish spot on the front facia on the driver's side just off from where the license plate would be. I spoke with a trusted body/paint shop guy who told me he could get it off in about 30 seconds. I told him that I thought it was the remnants of a bug. I took the car to him the next day and it took him almost 30 minutes to get it off. He had to use 3 different polishes and 2 different polish pads to get it off.

Yesterday I found another one on the passenger side this time. I can't believe it is bug related and I'm starting to question if it is bleeding through the clear coat.
My car is sublime green and I don't even have 900 miles on it yet.
I can take a picture of it tomorrow.

Has anyone heard or seen anything like this on any other Hellcats?

I believe that the front fascia is black (I have a very small stone chip and see black underneath.) Your paint guy is likely right that the orange color is likely from a bug. It's hard to believe that an orange colored primer would be used under the paint. Unless your car was repainted, it has to be from a bug. BTW, my car is Sublime as well.

Doesn't look like bleed through. May have been a bug or other particulate matter on surface at time of painting. I'd probably just leave it alone so as not to disturb the clear coat.

Didn't RS recently post that Sublime Green and Pitch Black would not be available for 2016? Could it be that the reason they are being pulled has to do with Quality issues with those colors? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that most of the posts (and yes, I am aware of B5 issues, too) pertaining to paint flaws have to do with Sublime Green and Pitch Black. (And I have taken into consideration that Sublime is the most popular color, so sheer numbers would push the number of flaws upward).

I have the same orange spots.
I noticed this today and I've had the car for 3 months. I just hope they don't start showing up on the panels. 20150520_183355.jpg

How in world do yall find these blems?...do yall actually sit and search for them? sorry, but it seems like some are looking for the most (seemingly)minute things to complain about. When my son was born he had a dime size light spot on his ass, I didnt send god a letter to complain because he had a mole on his arm and demand a new kid. Well, nowadays guess there is a fix for that too...airbrush tans and what have you .... just saying/ asking.......

You are correct. Thanks for clarifying that! I probably should have looked up his post before posting.
