I'm creating this thread in hopes it might be of some benefit for us to quickly compare notes on common problems...and their solutions...with our cars. (Please let me know if there's already a thread like this!)

Please keep any replies direct and to the point to keep it easy to navigate from post to post as we look for info.

    Here's my experience so far:

    2015 Challenger Hellcat, A8, ~6000 miles
    • Bad Uconnect bluetooth module (since delivery) - replaced under warranty
    • Broken plastic hood vent cover - replaced under warranty
    • Broken tabs on driver's seat side plastic trim - replaced under warranty
    • Broken tabs on driver's plastic seat back trim - replaced under warranty
    • Leaking radiator - replaced under warranty
    • Stereo s/w update
    • Uconnect security s/w update
    • Alignment: Car pulls to right since delivery - 3 alignments, including engine cradle adjustment. Problem remains.
    • Left rear howl at 89-91 mph - I haven't reported this yet. It's too limited of a problem and too difficult to recreate legally. Will wait for symptoms to worsen/change.

Didn't we ask for a copy of the alignment sheet?

Have yet to receive it!! Didn't think to ask again today with all the other irritating things going on. I will when we bring it back for another alignment...next time I can burn a vacation day.

I hear ya. I know you're irritated but I'm trying to help and need the alignment sheet, not a blurry copy cuz the machine needs a ink cartridge

other than the rad PIA, most of your stuff is pretty minor compared to others

Mine was rad, and a broken pin connector in the wiring harness causing a P025A code.
    Had a couple of updates

Just to be clear, I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to create a good thread containing info to help each other out with solutions and to see what others are running into.

For me only issue so far other than paint that had to go to body shop is a whine from rear end. For me it's around 60 to 62 mph. Quite annoying. Not sure how to handle it yet.

    Minimal issues:
Wheel balance needed - I did not know until after break-in as the shimmying was around 75 MPH - dealer fixed without issue.
HK issues (enumerated ad nauseum elsewhere) and uneven Pandora connection - all resolved with software upgrades.

But - all critical systems in tip-top shape (no leaks, engine issues or drivetrain issues, no major paint issues!

I have the rear end whine too at about 45-65 MPH.. I have not yet reported it to my dealer.

Only other issue is a handful of paint flaws.

    • Split oil cooler hose replaced under warranty (suspect hose manufacturer defect.)
    • Stumbles / periodically dies after 1st cold start, after fuel rail recall performed. (Root cause currently unknown.)
    • Clear coat micro marring at spots tks to dealer wash at initial purchase. (Cost them 1k which I sank into correcton / surface treatment.)
