After many months of obsessing I pulled the trigger tonight. In the last 12 months I have ordered 2 Charger HC's and waited and waited, but went looking and found a MSRP dealer tonight and drove to get it! It is in my garage and I am in love. I appreciate the help other owners provided when asking questions about the various options. Well Played!

Congrats, it's a great color combo. My advice (imo) is to get some protection on the paint especially since it's black, it will make washing it easier. I've had crystal serum with exo on my black stingray and now on my pitch black challenger hellcat. Lot of guys here also favor the cquartz stuff although I don't have any experience with it. Congrats again!

Thanks everyone! Rham they did try and sell me a protective coating for the exterior which i declined, but I did find that they already added it? So I am guessing I got it, but they will not warranty it if I have issues. Either way I will look into your stuff. Thanks!

Congrats on your Charger. That is an amazing looking car. I love the black with the red interior. Are you going to tint the windows or anything?

Get it broke in and then drive it like you stole it!

I'm going to get 20% tint and 50% on the whole front windshield.

Check on the 3m Crystalline product for the front windshield. They make a 90% that keeps visible light levels up while filtering the unwanteds and great heat rejection.

DOT legal film (since windshields already have some tint, you can't add much)

It has a 1700+ spf and blocks 97.5% of inferred light. Inferred light is responsible for the heat you feel. This film is constructed using over 220 layers and is the most advanced window film technology in the world. Crystalline window film also blocks 99.9% of UV light and has higher heat rejection than most of today's darker film's.

I have used that on my C7 and really just liked the darker 50. You really cannot tell unless you are right next to someone that doesn't have it. I love how ez it is on my eyes though. Thanks for the intel! I know my tinter uses the "ceramic" tiny I believe although I don't know the qaulities of it but I would imagine it close crystalline if not that it is. He basically tells me it does the same things you just explained and I just nod and push money towards him. Lol
