Hi folks - this is my second post in 3 days of membership! I am shopping around for a Challenger HC and have a couple of quick questions:
    • What tires came standard with the HC?
    • I've seen a couple of Challengers with hood fit issues in the lower right corner (if facing the car). Is this a widespread issue and if so, is there a recall or warranty fix for this?
    Thanks!
    Peter

its a simple adjustment on the hood. if the bumpers dont get it lined up you can file out the hood latch slot to drop it down a smidgen

Welcome to the forum. Best advice... always do a forum search before posting questions. It's likely that the topic has been covered before, possibly many times. The fewer threads we have on one topic, the more useful info we have in ONE spot, easy to reference.

Thanks all and I will heed Bandit's advice so I don't post questions that may already have been answered....I don't use too many web forums so please pardon my
    'growing pains'! :)

By "lower right corner (if facing the car)" do you mean left rear corner (as sitting in the car)?

Hi Catless - yes, that's right. The left corner of the hood (from the driver's seat) farthest away from the driver.

OK that would be the left front corner where it meets the fascia (nose cone). My HC is fine at that point but there is an adjustable bumper at that point to slightly raise lower the corner if needed.

    Drivers side vs passenger side

That's the easiest way to label it

All cars in this country are LEFT HAND drive. You refer to the car from the perspective of sitting in the driver's seat, looking forward. If the left turn signal is broken, that means the driver's side. If the right rear outer wheel bearing is shot...that's on the passenger side.

I had the same hood issue - left front (always from the perspective of sitting in the seat) - 2nd dealer got it fixed - about 98% right. At speed (over 100) the hood still wobbles a bit as just enough air gets under it but the latch will hold it.
