I want to get the rally stripes put on my Hellcat, and I also plan on doing either cquarts or xpel or a combo of both. my question is does it matter what comes first? Should the stripes be put on and then the protective coatings? or does it matter at all?

Stripes first, then Xpel, and last the Cquartz is what I was told.

Goin a little outside the box hopefully. I want PCP or similar color for my stripes. I don't have photoshop so I used the Viper 1 of 1 site to kinda get a feel for it.

I did the Xpel on my charger. full Front, full hood, both front fenders, mirror backs, headlights
rockers, and a patch behind the rear tires.
    $2200.00
I will keep this car and for that reason I was able to justify doing it. I am happy with the result.

I like that. Are those PCP decals? If so, where did you get them?

They are not a pre-cut kit. The vinyl is laid on the car, then cut using "Kinfeless Tape", look up on web, it will have a lot of demos of how Knifeless Tape is used.

xpel 1st and stripes over the expel......i did the strobe side stripe and he had to cut around them and even eliminate part of the expel to make it look decent....where as if i got the expel 1st i would have put the strobe over the expel and it would have been a cleaner look

unless they make an expel kit for your stripes....my gt500 had the stock stripes, so he had the kit for it

im very happy with the xpel product by the way.....but be careful of who is installing it....i have used 2 different guys in 3 vehicles...the first guy was so bad i had to take it back 3-4x's...and its still not right...i just accept the slight peeling on my truck......the 2nd guy was very good, but still needed to make a repair once on both vehicles.......there arent many installers out there and its hard to know who to trust...id look for word of mouth..price wise the bad guy and the good guy were the same price...i just chose the guy initially who had a better website presence and who returned my phone calls better....(a mistake)

did you buy the vinyl first and then take it somewhere to get it cut and installed? or a place that did everything in house?

Thanks on the advice huggy. Yeah Its nerve-racking trying to find the right material and installers and all that. just want someone who knows what they are doing and will take care of my baby. It would be nice to find a place that could do stripes, xpel and cquarts. Might have to start a new thread asking for recommendations in the Chicagoland area.
