    Just wanted to get some answers about changing to 3.09 gears.What is the advantages and disadvantages?

    Advantage: Car feels more responsive at lower speeds, cuts roughly 2 tenths off qtr mile ET, little to no loss in mpg, low cost mod for the benefits received..

    Disadvantage: Could affect warranty depending on dealer, you lose seat time while it is being installed..

    200+ mph is off the table But you'll be a blurr on the short run

    Good trade off

    I would say that 200 is still on the table as with 3.09 7th gear is tacking 202 mph at 6200

    Thx for the feedback.Think im ganna be doing a 3.09 diff.Not looking at top speed want more low end.

    best bang for the buck mod you can do. easy install, no tune or speedo issues, just hang on!!
