So you made 750rwhp with just the intake and nothing else? Not happening..

Not even a remote possibility to get those numbers from only the CAI.

I have that CAI on my car (except properly installed with rainguard... you need to get on that), and my car isn't pulling anywhere near that.

And now it's on YouTube where not only will you be mocked, but the general consensus of Hellcat owners will now be that we're idiots that believe in magical fairy dust.

    Thanks.

Did you do a before AND after pull to verify the results?

Remember what Ron said...."Trust but verify.".

don't know why everybody gets all bent when somebody posts "unrealistic" dyno numbers... who, honestly gives a rats ass what a dyno says?!? it's just a tool that should be used for tuning purposes... last time I looked, people dont race dyno sheets.... let's see what the timeslip says

Stella I agree with you but at the same time there guys like me who don't have tracks close by. Dyno numbers help us to not waist our money on parts that don't make hp. I know dyno's are not accurate but there has to be someway to know if a part works or not.

Even time-slips are not a perfect gauge for if a part works. You could put on a intake and run your best time ever but that could be coincidence. There is just too many variables with a driver. Obviously I am talking about small mods.

The only way to be accurate is to have a dyno in an environmentally controlled room. Humidity, pressure, temperature all controlled and repeatable.

I feel sorry for you guys that don't have access to a track... I am 15 minutes from a track, and it is open 6 days a week. I don't know if I would own this car if I couldn't race it every other week...

Markp but there are some of us who did test parts at the track and have posted if it works or doesn't. Many have read those results and beleive the track info. Stella is correct the dyno is a tuning tool. With the Hell Cat what we see on the dyno doesn't always translate to track anyway, it least not yet ;)
Parts need to go through the R&D for Hell Cat testing and should be revised without the customer spending a whole lot of $$$$s to get them to work right. And should be sold after the part is doing what it's said to do by the vender.
Again we own Hell Cats and most SRT 8 ideas don't cross over to our cars.
So I guess the negative comments get posted to not have people waste their money. But Hey some are going to like the looks of a CAI and that's their choice.
But for now Stock box for the track is a winner.
    Linda :)
