So I took my car to a brushless car wash near me today. I know this is unthinkable to most Hellcat owners, but I really don't have a choice. Our snow here in NB, Canada is insane this year. I have to drive this car in the winter and the only means to keep it clean is using that car wash. I immediately wipe the excess water off the second I get home, at least.

Anyhow, the ticket's code made me chuckle out loud for sure when I went to enter it in (at least the last 3 digits did)

Yeah - First time I had it out in 2 weeks, today. I drove yesterday in my parent's minivan and noticed the roads are bare and dry enough for some errands today. Won't be a common thing until the drifts go away...

You have to do what you have to do to keep your car clean in the winter

At least it's brushless! Ain't no shame in that at all. Do what tsc does though, wash it and then drive it like you stole it. By the time he gets home usually all the water is gone, lol.

Good to know I'm not getting barred for doing the carwash thing! :D Some of the water was ice when I got home, sadly. Guess I went home too fast!

I take my cars through a touchless wash also because of 2 back, and 1 neck surgery...it wrecks havok on me to do by hand. If I do it by hand I enlist my boys...lol

Sadly, I don't have that such luxury of child labor, err I mean, kids of my own to help me ;) I also have painful joint issues, so I can sympathize completely...

In the past with my R/T I'd do 1-2 touch frees a week and hand wash on the weekends. Probably gona keep that going for this one. I am lucky enough to have a good touch free with filtered and conditioned water right near the house.

On one of the groups I belong too people were getting into a heated argument over the touchless was saying there is chemicals that ruin the finish on your paint. I don't know what to believe. I need to get a better drying towel I don't like the swirl marks. All I know is I can't be contorting myself to wash a car..lol

Well a daily driver is harsh on the paint as well. If I wanted a flawless jewel I would put it in storage and gaze at it once in a while...

If you keep the car waxed and only use good touch free washes with an occasional professional detail You should be fine. Personally I think a dirty car is more damaging than the touch free washes.
I've never had an issue at any rate.
Oh course this is the first car I am actually going to try and never eat in so...

LOL I won't let anybody eat or drink in it unless it is water. In the spring summer that car is never dirty (my 2013) now with this one I will be just as OCD over it. It is in storage now, but I do drive it from April to whenever snow is projected in the forcast. I didn't get that car to stare at it either what a waste that would be...

Dante looks horrible at the moment, because this time of year in the south, everything ... and I do mean everything, is COVERED in yellow pine pollen. It does not matter if you wash the car, because before you can dry it, it is covered in yellow again. Down here everyone just waits it out and then washes everything in sight ... cars, dogs, the house (power washing is a must), birds, etc. I have approx 2 - 3 more weeks of pollen before I bother to wash Dante. It is making me crazy.
