When I go into a driveway that has a slight incline or even over a speed bump slowly, I get a creak sound coming from the rear of the car, somewhere in the rear 1/4 (trunk area).
I first noticed it pretty early on in the ownership of the car. It was enough to make me think of putting on subframe braces since I thought it may get worse over time and the subframe braces may solve it.
Well they didn't, but of course the subframe braces can't hurt, so I'm not disappointed there.

But the question is, do you all hear or get the same creaking from the rear of your's or do I have something loose somewhere that needs to be tightened up? If it's normal, I'll of course live with it. If not, I'll have the dealer check it out the next time I need a dealer appointment.

    Thanks

Ok, I'll try to listen more closely to see where it's exactly coming from.
Issue is, I'm the sole driver of this car (wife is scared of it, :) ) so it's hard to hear from exactly where when I'm in the front seat.
I just know it's from the rear somewhere.

Hope you find it. Also my wife won't even consider driving mine. Too funny how they are scared of it. Smile. Probably smart.

yep, passenger side rear for mine. low speed, up hill turns, either direction. been that way since about the 300 mile mark [4000+ now]. dug through about everything in that corner, still can figure out what's causing/making the noise

    Yup that's it.
Should of said that too, up hill turning...ie going up an incline like a driveway or such, going 3-10 mph I'll get the creak.
It may be on all cars, but if people are driving with the stereo up or aren't keen to creaks and rattles, they probably won't hear or even notice it.

I really should have someone drive my car and go up my driveway with me either in the back seat, or even in the trunk to hear to see if I can narrow it down as to where exactly that creak is coming from.
