Rear Diff Fluid Change 2200 Miles.

    I did mine at 1537 miles and it looked great. There was no metallic stuff that they eye could see and color was much more amber than yours.

    I used Amsoil 75W90 with no added friction modifier as the replacement fluid. I've put about 600 miles on since. The diff is quiet and functioning well.

    Whatever Dodge calls for it; and they had to order it, did not have it in the shop.

    I think I will do mine this upcoming week. Mine makes all sorts of noises, whether it is the whine from 45-55mph on light acceleration or the growling noise when rolling to a stop. I really doubt my diff will last the summer.

    Just a shame, because the Getrags in the previous years Challengers were noisy garbage. You would think Dodge would have done some homework with the 15s and new 707hp/650tq car being released.
