My HC has a rear differential seal leaking. Took it to the dealer today and they ordered a part and will be fixed tomorrow. Right after I got home with it on day 1...6/16, I noticed a tiny bit of a leak. Dealer said it was OK to drive and to keep an eye on it. After 2 weeks of ownership, it wasn't getting any better. Car was built on 5/25. Just a heads up for everyone just to check it out. There was a small fluid stain under the diff on my garage floor and a drop coming from the left side of the diff. Another forum member said they too had an issue. Good Luck all and hoping it is just an isolated incident. Other than that...all system are perfect.

Thanks for the info. So it's the drivers side seal on the diff?

Drivers side...yes...as you are looking at it from the rear. Very small leak and it only happens when it is running or shortly after shutdown. Doesn't seem to be continuous...ie: the next morning it appears to have totally stopped.

In the overall scheme of things that should be an easy fix. Hopefully dealer gets a new seal in there and you are good to go for a good long time. Let us know how you make out!
