Anybody delated the rear ? And if so, is the car any louder? I would like to cut the exhaust after the mufflers & run 3" back to tips, I see flow master has the outlaw kit now for the hellcat, but it's hard to get a good sound off the iPad, any help appreciated

Are you begging for the Po to not only see you but hear you as well?

The car is bad ass, so I want it to sound the part,it does sound good for a stock exhaust, I can't see spending $975 for the outlaw kit, & I had pypes violators on my 09 srt w/ kooks headers & that car sounded incredible!

If you delete the secondary mufflers (the big ones that are right next to the tips) you can count on a really loud car.
It will definitely be too loud for any city ordinance and you'd likely get a ticket as soon as you pass, drive by, or are heard accelerating by any police officer within several blocks.
The Flowmaster Outlaws would be quite loud too, probably right on the edge of legal in most places.

I just got my Hellcat a few days ago and cut out the resonators and replaced the mufflers with a single chamber Flowmaster 40 series. Had my local exhaust shop do it for $450. Sounds fantastic and is actually pretty mild inside the vehicle and at low RPMs. Do it... you will be happy.

People snap their head around as if they have been in a car wreck when I hammer it. Not sure why you would want to screw with the stock exhaust. I have built many custom stainless exhaust systems for enthusiasts, utilizing two and three chambered flowmasters, among others. I won't be touching this exhaust. Dodge nailed it.............

I think the stock exhaust sounds great,,,, but to be completely honest,, the Gt350r exhaust sounds intoxicating...just wow...I would love to hear what the hellcat would sound like with the flowmaster, and res delete... Maybe post a video

I also cut off the rear resonators, didn't really get much louder, maybe a touch but not anything drastically loud

I've been passing plenty of cops, no issues for me. The one thing i would say to think about, is that i heard from my buddy at Dodge that there may be a recall for the exhaust, if anyone can confirm? I guess they have had a few failures of the active/exhaust valves. Not sure if that will affect a recall or anything, just something to think about

I think my flaps have been giving me some issues as I have set car to track mode before with engine warming up and definitely heard exhaust note change but lately when I do the same no note change
But if I go under my favorite overpass it's loud as hell when i whale on it so I know it must be opening up
