Does any one know if the rear tail lights can be adjusted? My far right rear is about a 1/4" lower than the left right rear that is attached to the trunk. The complete left side tails are dead nuts on.. It's driving me crazy..

There's a thread on here about this. Search for it. Your dealer can do it for you also.

I can't find it, I've been searching for 20 minutes. If it's anything like my '06 SRT8 Charger or most late model cars, you just have to pull the trunk lining material away from the back, usually its held on with plastic screws or push pins. It's kind of like a carpet type housing covering the very back (rear-most) wall of the trunk. If you can get that pulled back/away, you will see the back side of the tail lights and be able to loosen the screws that hold them in slightly, adjust light housing to preference, then tighten the screws back up. Reverse the rest of the procedure to reassembly.

I know if it does it more than once to me I'm going to put some blue loctite on the tail light housing screws.

You can also adjust the black trunk bumpstops to adjust the middle. As mentioned by RadCat, the taillight assembly can be adjusted by pulling back the trunk lining material behind the light.

image.jpeg So I am rehashing this because I noticed the same issue a few days after I bought my 392. The first "fix" was adjusting trunk lid. No help, but the lid lined up better. Next was swapping out the light. No go. So I have set up another appointment with another shop. A tech DID notice something interesting while I was getting their opinion. My lid could be pushed down almost an inch. Going to a car on the lot with the lights lined up properly showed no downward movement with the trunk lid. So, they concluded that the trunk latch MAY need adjusting, or may be defective. I will find out tomorrow.

The main reason I am rehashing this is because I have notice quite a few SRT's with this right rear light issue. Not one or two, but more than a dozen in my area.

I will keep you all posted. If anyone has fixed this issue already give me your input.

    lol

Congrats, you've noticed something that has plagued every run of Challenger (all trim levels from SXT to Hellcat) since they were released in 2008.

I have the same issue. It's the right side. It is down 1/8 to a 1/4 inch. I am sure they can adjust and will have the dealer do it at next oil change. No glad to see it is an issue with most but relieved to say it can be fixed.
