I am trying to remove the PCM from my challenger hellcat to send it off to diablosport so that it can be unlocked, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting the PCM out of the car. I can't get the plugs out. Seems to me that there just isn't enough space to separate plug from PCM. Anybody have any tips for getting it out? It would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.

Should be under the passenger side wiper area , small black piece that pops out . Had to disconnect down in the hole its in , as the wires coming in didn't give you enough play to pull out the pcm before disconnecting .

As you are looking at the engine bay it is in the very back left... correct me if I'm wrong but it's under the "vented" part of the black plastic cover that pops out with the push of a clip. Once that is off, the PCM disconnects with one of those red tabbed, annoying clips I believe

It's a pain in the but on the challenger .a lot of wiggling around and I think I remember removing some of the push pins to be able to move the plastic

I found a video for a charger on Diablosport's website. Looks simple enough.

Once that pcm is accessed it will leave a footprint of data that can't be erased. Be careful if your in warranty

The way I see it is if you care about a warranty then you should not be modifying anything on your car. I know enough about cars that I personally could care less about warranties.

If you change the pcm and then later change back to the factory pcm will the mileage be the traceable way for the dealer to tell the pcm was changed and then changed back.

I see warranties as simply a "dealership pays to maintain" or "you pay to play".

With the Hellcat, I see the modifications as: driver skill/knowledge, proper tires, proper fluid maintenance, brake pad maintenance, engine belts, and several other things warranty doesn't cover to begin with.

Far too often, we get bit by the mod bug to chase HP, but we forget to invest in the knowledge behind the wheel and the things that keep the car great in the first place.

to get more room just loosen the cross brace and you will be able to slide the whole thing up. Be careful, there is a locking tab in the center of the lever that you need to push to release the latch that holds the cable on.
Mine didn't have the slack on the cable the 300 did, was a pain.
