I ordered a couple of replica wheels to mount winter tires on in place of my drag radials. Originals are just too expensive. Anyway, I heard the finish looks terrible on these things, so I was expecting to have to do some work on them to make them look decent.

These actually look great! The finish is very nice...flawless and smooth. Hopefully the dealer won't damage them mounting the tires...haha! 20151002_222246.jpg

Do you know how much they weigh vs the factory rim?

I haven't weighed them or the factory ones to compare. I can easily weigh these if someone knows what the factory wheels weigh.

These are 20x9s....and they do feel heavy to me, at least compared to the last wheels I picked up, which we're Weld racing 15x8s (haha).

Factory stock 20 x 9.5 forged wheels weigh about 28.8 lbs each, not including lug nuts or any balancing weights

Where did you get these? I'd be interested in getting a set for drag radials.

why worry how much they weigh, unless you consistently run 1/8 of a tank of gas........

Rotational weight is lots more important than body weight.

Thanks! Dummy me forgot to weigh the replicas, but I do have the shipping weight, which should be pretty accurate. I also picked them both up....my guess is 5 lbs more.

The shipping label says 36 lbs....so the approximate math is:
    36 lbs
    -1 lb (box and packing)
    -29 lbs (factory wheel)
    = 6 lb difference
This is all approximate of course.
Oh, and remember, these are the 9" width wheels. 10's would be even heavier.

Vittore wheels on eBay. They only come in 9" and 10" widths. I went with 9". The bacspacing isn't optimal for this size if you want the wheel out as far as possible in the normal range, but they look great. Can't even tell. These are 20 mm offset.

    Update:
It was late on Saturday when I finally had time, so I went to Discount Tire....but this is a different store and I spoke to the manager about damage done at the other store.

I made it very clear I didn't want any damage. The manager did the work himself and was almost too careful. Great job and very nice about it. No damage! 20151003_163737.jpg 20151003_163743.jpg

Shipping label, is that for one wheel or both?

I want 10's, so I can run a 315. Saw another post on here tonight (when I saw it, not when it was posted) about someone putting four 20x10's on their scat pack, Axis brand, model 2's, 20mm offset, no rubbing, mounted factory tires on front rims, 315 Nitto NT05R's on rear. Looks mean as h3ll. If you don't mind me asking, what was your cost per wheel? The Axis brand on tirerack.com are either $269 or $299 per wheel (it changed while I was on there, started as 299 then changed to 269).

What model are the Vittore wheels you purchased? I just looked on ebay and didn't see any like that.

You can cram a 315 onto a 10" wheel, but 10.5 or 11 would be better. It'll keep the tread flatter on the road for a betfer contact patch.

The shipping label was for one wheel. They were $225 each (free shipping, no tax).

They're just the Hellcat replica wheels in the satin finish. There's several auctions for them by that company. Just search for "hellcat wheels".
