Couple of questions regarding these rims please:

    1. Do they actually look close to OEM black rims? ----- another words if I had them on the back would they stick out as being different from the fronts?

    2. Can they be fitted with SRT center caps, and if so where can I find them?

    3. Can I use the stock chrome lug nuts?

    3. Also where can I find these reproduction rims?

    Thank you !

can you link us to where you found reproduction rims? Multiple companies can make them so they could all be different

It was quite a while ago, I think it was on e-bay but not sure?

I interested in which ever is the more accurate reproduction of the original, but definitely would want the stock center cap or a decent reproduction that would fit these rims.

I think most repros will not accomodate the center cap, not an issue contact Chris at Drippinwet.com and he can make decals for you to fit the repro caps

Whatever wheels you buy, make sure they're FORGED.

Not on Hellcats. Factory wheels are forged.

I know they are forged on the HC
In fact many people are using cast for race wheels and have had zero problems.
Not everyone can afford or want to spend 5000.00-10000.00 for a set of rims

To be honest, I'm not so cofident in the forged wheels anymore. I'm seeing more and more them getting bent like they were cast wheels. My reps have 5,000 issue-free miles on them.

They are definitely softer and harder to get repaired if you have the Brass Monkeys.

Just posted on your thread. Just sold my BMs and will rock the reps until I decide on a new aftermarket wheel. Turning my reps in to a track wheel.

    BM's are forged as well.

I'm not trying to get into an argument. I'm just saying that forged are stronger. Yes they are more expensive. FCA didn't put them on the Hellcats to save money. They put them on because they are the proper type of wheel that can hold up to the G-forces that the car is capable of...not just acceleration and breaking but also lateral loads.

Maybe it's just me... but I would not want to get in an accident because a wheel failed when I hit a pothole in a corner when I was pulling .9 Gs.

No arguments everyone has their valid points. I was only saying IMO they seem softer, i know forged wheels are better for cornering and lateral G forces. And i did hit a man hole doing about .0001 Gs in a corner.
