Safety Recall Notice for U-Connect Received in Mail today

    I didn't see this posted yet, but today I got the letter with the USB chip enclosed. It looks like it'll take 25 minutes to update the software and your car needs to be running during that time. I'll wait until a cool day before I do the upgrade.

    Every update I've ever done did not require the car to be running, just in ACC or run, but with the motor off.

    Funny i never got mine. But went to website to download...updated radio already. Recall showed on my recalls page on owners connect then has magically changed to completed..what they do remotely connect to my car amd see it had current version lol.

    I believe they do, I get a monthly report on the status of my car.
