Trying to figure out what brand of tires to buy that would fit the stock rims and give me better grip in the streets and OK 1/4 mile drag strip times without me hitting a wall. There is so much power on this beast but when you floor it with these tires. The car is going sideways not forward. I've looked at this forum but the options are mixed.. Some say Nitto's Invo, NT05 or NT555R but for every positive review there are three bad ones.

I also had a guy tell me to try Artturo Tires. I am not asking for perfection but better traction than the Pirellis.

    Thoughts??

I'd look at the Nitto DR's. Either the NT05r's or the 555R's. The Invo's are not gonna help you.

I run the Nitto 555R D.R. on the street all the time and I am very pleased with the results.

Depends on what kind of driving your looking to do... Track or Drag. For straight line the Nitto or MT 305/35/20 DR's would be a good choice. For carving corners the Pirelli's aren't bad once you get some heat in them but a set of Nitto NT01 285/35ZR20 would be a better choice for stock wheels.

I'm interested on the NT555G2 as it seems like they will have a 275/40/20 that will fit with the stock rim. It seem like they are not being sold yet. So I'm waiting till I can get a hold of them before I go to the Drag strip.

you will never have an issue with Nitto 555r's on the street......on the track ive seen the MT's do better

unless your trying to be king of the drag strip just get the nitto's...look for sales...i bought mine when they were $100 off a tire....and you dont need them for the fronts...keep the fronts stock, save your old set of rears to put on the fronts when the fronts wear out

An all out street tire, don't think there going to hold the Cat back, you will have to live with limited mile wearing DR and limited to weather, I run MT's 315's they hook good.
