What am I missing? I can see these for non-Hellcat Challengers, but what purpose would they serve on a Hellcat?

I don't see the need for this,, that's why our cars have air filters

Just posted as an FYI. I read here that some complained about debris getting to the filter chamber.

With the bwoody installed, I'm giving this more consideration. Because air to the filter is coming from multiple places, having this, if something got trapped and restricted air flowing through it, I would be less concerned.

Seriously??????? Someone marketed that? $40???? I guess it will keep birds and mice out:rolleyes:

If I desired to install something in my airbox, it would probably come from Bruce's custom Covers, look like this, with a remove before flight tag on it.

Now that's a neat idea if you have your cat at a show! I doubt there's really any restriction to the screen...and it probably does what it says..at least from large bugs

    why bother?

ive seen 13/14 gt500's with chicken wire in their open grills....seems like the HC equivalent...just foolish, but someone will buy it thinking it will prevent birds/turkeys/deer from getting into their air cleaner

I usually check the intake for obstructions and had to shoe a few geese out of there , But l haven't found any deer or turkeys in there yet. :p

I installed them on both sides. Now a little more air can get into the engine compartment .

Funny I hit a bird right below the intake hole had to open the filter housing and make sure I didn't fod the super charger. Somehow he didn't make the hole no feathers or bird in the box. The running joke is my cat tried to eat a bird.
