Well, this is interesting, a scat pack takes out all generations of Camaros since 2000. What I find even more interesting is that it took out a 2016 Camaro SS. The SS Camaro similarly equipped to a scat pack is nearly 50k, and got whooped on by a stock scat pack.

In the comments the challenger owner says drag tires and a CAI is the only mod

great start on the line--drag radials.. I also have a Scat Pack the Wife drives and I will tell you that up to 100 mph it's pretty close to a HellCat

    new SS should beat a 392 and i believe they have a A6 not a A8

they are like 800+lbs less weight arent they? hard to overcome that with similar HP

I was thinking the same thing. This one has the same hood I think and it sure looks like his. It only ran a 13...

It was thoughtful of Dodge to create the Scat Pack, so there would be a version to compete handily against the quicker American cars, and they also made the Hellcat, so there would be a version to tangle with cars such as Lamborghini and Ferrari!

The new Camaro has an A8. I'm not sure if this one did. But your right, it takes more than 30 HP to overcome 800lbs. But the stock Dyno numbers I've been seeing on the scat packs is that they are generally putting 435-445 HP to the wheels, if you do the 15% conversion they are putting 510-525 HP at the crank. Now, with those numbers it's generally a fair fight.

Im late on this one. The Scat Pack has drag radials so thats the difference. The ls1 camaro ran a 13.4@ 99 mph. Thats not bad for a potentially 18 year stock old car. Put drag radials on the 2016 Camaro and the Scat pack loses.

Imma make sure I have good videos of the Hellcat huntings for this year. I didnt know my friend was videotaping me in my Hellcat race. It was a nice gesture on their part but it wasn't the best picture. If that was my Z28 I would have put 20 car links on that Scat Pack.

Its winter and I posted all my latest videos. There is an open invite to whoever wants to run my Z28. Dont let this video give you a false sense of hope.
