Hey all. New to the forums here as a user. Don't have a cat yet, but getting very close to finally pulling the trigger now that I am finally getting pricing at or even bellow invoice from several dealers.

One thing I am debating about is the seat material. I like the Laguna leather a lot as it is very soft and nice. I especially like the Sepia color. However, I am wondering how well the leather will hold up with time because of its softness. Wondering if maybe the Nappa will hold up better?

For those who have had their cats for the past year or so, how are the materials holding up? Would love to have some input.

Thanks all, and super happy to be here.

I have a 16 Hellcat (Challenger) with the Laguna sepia. I've only had it for four months and I only have 3500 miles on the car but it still looks new. I'm also curious about how well it's going to wear over time. There have been some posts about these cars having "loose leather" in the seats. Hopefully some of the folks that have more miles and time will chime in. Good thread!

3000 miles...looks good....some creases like what youd expect because of the softness

Leather needs maintenance, it dries then cracks. 10 minutes of care twice a year and should be able to restore it's original.

Have 7500mi on mine, no loose leather.

If it was, that's where the warranty kicks in.

    But no worries here.

Btw, love my Sephia interior, mostly because it is two tone. Hope this helps. 20151104_182625.jpg 20151104_182612.jpg

I have a 15 charger hellcat with Laguna black leather. Just took it to dealer today actually. My seats were all perfect until I was at a car event a few weekends ago and baked in the heat with windows down for two days straight. Now my drivers seat is a tad loose and the bottom seat pad has some creases I can't get out. Dealer is looking into fix for me. All other seats are still great. Honestly I can live with how it looks now just fine, but I'm guessing it will continue to get worse... Im 6'4" and 170lbs so it's not a weight issue that causes the loose leather as I have heard it blamed with various other cars

Big tip for a bunch of us
Bigger guys try not to swing your legs over without lifting them up. It will cause those ripples on front of seat.
Always be careful of jeans and shirts with buttons also
FCA changed what is pre auth for di claims. Seat covers are no longer required for program. At least in the NE anyway

I just bought some towel type seat covers for mine. They just loop over the headrests and don't interfere with the air bags as they don't cover the sides. They should go a long way in protecting the seats. You can still feel the vented seats with them but it is reduced a little.

Have Black Laguna in 2015 Hellcat with 2,800 miles. It looks as good as the day it was delivered. Have Sepia Laguna in 2015 SRT Grand Cherokee with 13,000 miles and it also looks as good as the day it was delivered. You won't be sorry getting Laguna.

I have the Sepia Laguna and about 5700 miles. Seats are still perfect, nothing to note or complain about. I would go with the Laguna leather if you can swing it.

Black Laguna, 7K miles, no issues here either. They are very nice seats.

Plus on the '16 model year you are paying for the Laguna wether you get it or not.
