Does anyone know the sequence to disable the seatbelt chime on these cars? Or are you able to do it?

I did this on my Ram and love that I don't have to listen to that annoying chime anymore.

I disabled it on my 09 challenger but not sure you can do it on these newer models.

LOL. I normally wear my seatbelt when I'm driving, but if I'm just driving in the neighborhood (run up to the gas station at the front of our subdivision or coming home from my sister's farther back in same neighborhood), I don't always put it on. It's a 1-2 minute ride doing 20mph, so a seatbelt is kind of unnecessary.

oh yeah then its annoying as shit, in my 08 charger srt8 i put the thing in reverse and if you travel more then 5ft it goes BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP then put it into drive and it goes BEEEEPBEEEEPBEEEEP. When i take my belt off to get my parking garage ticket then drive in the garage at 10-20mph to get a parking spot

    BEEEEPBEEEPBEEEEPBEEEP

On my Ram, there was a sequence of steps you could do. It was "Get in truck. Buckle Seatbelt. Turn key to run position without starting. When seat belt light goes out unbuckle and rebuckle seat belt 3 times in 10 seconds ending with the belt buckled. Turn key off."

I'm at work, so I can't try that, but I might when I get home. Just thought someone may already know how to do it.

Best to where seatbelts at all times. Never know when some idiot is going to run a stop sign, swerve into you etc.

Sorry the LE side of me jumped out there. Seen too many crashes, high & low speed, with injuries that could of been prevented if they wore their SB.
