Cool, I didnt know they posted an article about that already. Very interesting read one thing that i dont understand though is they mention the weight of the cars and the 2015 weighed 4,710 lbs without a driver now correct me if im wrong but i thought the standard weight for the 2015 charger hellcat is 4,500-4,575 lbs? Im wondering why it weighed that much. I think they would have gotten better times had it been a little lighter.

Good read and nice to actually know all the details now. That charger looks great and what an awesome build, wish they would have walked GMG tho!

I saw that, too. Maybe it was full of gas? 18 gallons of gas weighs around 140lbs.

I thought it was interesting about using ALL the electrical/electronic components and computers. A friend has a Chrysler Crossfire. Wasn't running right, electronics all on the fritz. Took it to a dealer mechanic who asked what work had been done recently. "None"! After a coupkle of minutes he said, i had a taillight bulb replaced at Advance Auto. They'd put a single filament bulb where a dual filament was required. And the main computer knew this and it affected other components. Sort of like "limp home" mode on the trans.
