Been trying to stay mellow and relaxed.....just waiting for the weather and roads to improve and then this happens over night:

    IMG_2398 2.JPG

Drove my daughter to high school and watch several orange plow trucks driving around dumping 100% salt. Ugh....it's a historical fact we get snow storms during our high school tournament season....but now it's going to take a few really good rains to wash that pure salt off the roads. Hopefully I can get the break in protocol for the Cat completed before it's time to put it in storage. I enjoy reading the driving stories from my brothers and sisters in warmer climates....keep them coming. My odometer reads 18 miles......hopefully have 19 by 4th of july :)

Yes.....It might be November before we have any decent weather :). The last couple of springs have been cold and very wet....well into June. I'm hoping we have at least four or five months of good driving conditions this year.

Thanks......at least I know it's warm somewhere........and gives me hope. The temp dropped from 32 to 30* for the 30 minute drive this morning.......old man winter is still hanging around these parts.

Oh dude, bad day out there. We are lucky so far here in the Cities, nothing. Good news is that most of the metro main streets are not bad now. Hope they don't screw us tonight if it drops a bit.

I can deal with the snow and cold......But with all the MNDOT trucks dropping pure salt.......not sand and salt......my heart just sank. They were laying it on plenty thick as well so it's going to take a few really solid rains to wash that stuff off. I had really hoped to be logging some break in miles the first part of April.....not sure about that now.

It must have missed y'all. Talked to my parents this morning....the are outside of Hayward, WI....and they got snow as well.

That is just BS and a waste of our money. These roads are warm and it is above freezing. They should leave it alone.

The real crap is that evil liquid concentrate.

Been in shorts and sandals for the past 3 weeks. Ya'll should come down to the South! Lemme know and I will have some ribs on the grill, peach cobbler in the oven, and a few gallons of sweet tea ready! :)

Come on April, that just sounds so good right now. I was just considering coming south to see a few others yesterday, careful or you will have visitors.

Here on Long Island, we're supposed to get 3-6" this Sunday night into Monday with this approaching Nor'easter, and then it's supposed to be 60 degrees the next day. It's been in the 50's and 60's lately. The weather is so unpredictable and it's why so many people are getting sick. 30 degree temperature fluctuations overnight aren't good for anyone!
