I just got back from a little trip with the Hellcat and thought I would share. I am most impressed with the mileage that came out of my car. I started at a town in lower British Columbia, CAN with an elevation of 1100 ft, traveled up and over the mountain pass to 5500' (yes there was still snow on the side of the road and lots of 30 MPH hair pin corners), and stopped at home just outside of Edmonton Alberta 2170' averaging 125 KPH ( 78 MPH). Total trip distance was 1112.3 KMs (691 miles) and averaged 9.5 liters per 100 kms which equals 29.7 MPG!!! This car ROCKS!!!!! :) Hellcat Trip log.JPG

I think you got better gas up there. We got this crap its is reformulated with up to 10% corn from Iowa. It gives less energy and you use twice as much of it but it will combat the evil and dreaded global warming, so we are doing our part and getting well under 20 MPG.

Did you do that trip in ECO? Averaged 23 in sport mode on my 600 mile trip. Knew nothing of ECO at the time so I'm sure my numbers would have been higher. I don't think it would be 29mpg (impressive) though.

And after seeing your picture again I see the ECO lit up. Cool beans.

Just to clear this up, 9.5 L/100km is equivalent to 24.76 US mpg

Birddog is forgetting that no one really uses the Imperial mpg any longer, especially not our brothers and sisters to the south

I just got back from a trip to/from Edmonton (from Calgary) averaging 118 km/hr (~75 mph) and was rewarded with 19 US mpg for the trip (non-ECO). That included running around Edmonton and then a pretty strong headwind on the way back.

I'm at 437 on the odometer. 13.7 mpg. That'st going to drop sharply within the next 63 miles. I plan on 9 M
PG and loving all the way to the next gas station.

When I took my trip to Dallas for the break in period and at 70-80 mph I was averaging between 23-24. But now it's more like 5 but I think that has lot to do with mashing the pedal.:D

I just took my cat on its first long road trip. It had 3500 Mikes and I averaged 20 mpg. It is a six speed. this was a mix of town and interstate driving. Cruise on interstate at 70-80 mph.
